I acknowledge I am aware the physical exertion, risks and dangers inherent of cycling and the forces exerted on the body can activate or aggravate per-existing injuries, conditions, symptoms or congenital defects.

I am aware cycling involves many risks, dangers and hazards beyond control of Langdon Hall Country House Hotel and Spa. I freely accept and fully assume all risks, dangers and hazards associated with use of the hotel bicycles or scooters and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting there from.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged(Required)

I agree to the liability policy.

Upon the return of the bicycle, it will be inspected for any visible damage. Helmet and lock/key must be returned in good order. There will no charge for wear and tear, only if there is intended damage. Charges will be based on the cost of repairs. If the bicycle(s) is lost or stolen while in the guest’s use then they are fully responsible for all costs. Costs will be based on retail value, CURRENT VALUE OF A ELECTA TOWNIE IS $980.00, ROCKY MOUNTAIN BLIZZARD 10 IS $1675.00, VELOSOPHY is $1,900.00, KRYPTONITE COMBO U LOCK IS $120.00, HELMET IS $65.00.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement(Required)

I agree to the release of liability policy.

I agree to HOLD HARMLESS Langdon Hall, its administrators, employees and agents from any claims, damages, injuries or losses caused by my own negligence as a participant. I understand and agree this release will have the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving, and forever relinquishing any and all actions or causes of action I may have or have had, whether past, present, or future, whether known or unknown, and whether anticipated or unanticipated by me, arising out of my participation both to person and property.

I hereby declare the terms of this settlement have been completely read and are fully understood and voluntarily accepted for the purpose of making a full and final compromise adjustment and settlement of any and all claims, stipulated or otherwise, on account of the injuries and damages above mentioned, and for the express purposes of precluding forever any further or additional claims arising out of any possible accident.

It is further agreed the release expresses a full and complete settlement of liability, regardless of the adequacy of the aforesaid and the acceptance of this release shall not operate as an admission of the liability on the part of anyone, nor as estoppels, waiver, or bar with respect to any claim the part or parties release may have against the undersigned.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I understand and agree this release shall be effective and binding on me, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and representatives.

NOTE: Ontario law requires ALL users to wear a helmet under 18(Required)

I acknowledge the helmet requirement.

This is a voluntary release for any and all future injuries or accidents. The risks include those foreseen and unforeseen, known and unknown. I understand and agree this release applies to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, which I may suffer, even if caused by the acts or omissions of others. Langdon Hall does not assume liability for personal injury or death and includes any minors accompanying me.
