Located 20 minutes from Langdon Hall, Irish Creek Stables has been providing excellence in riding instruction and horsemanship for over 40 years. Learn the basics of riding or practice your current skills in their beautiful bright indoor arena or large outdoor sand ring. Lessons occur for 1.5 hours for maximum 2-4 people. There are many choices for a two hour, five kilometre walk in the forested area of Langdon Hall. A favourite is a walk directly from Langdon Hall along the Grand Alee where one would arrive in years gone by via horse and carriage. The trees that line Grand Alee, Carolina Populars, some still standing, enhanced the experience of arrival. You will retrace your steps from the original gates via "Deer Run" and "Maple Lane" to Langdon Hall. A pair of walking shoes is about all we need. The pace is moderate and designed to explore this special part of Ontario, its trees, plants, history and geology.
