Donna Wise’s artistic journey is one of spontaneity and intuition, where acrylic paint takes centre stage as storyteller. Based in Toronto, Wise uses unconventional tools like credit cards, rakes and scrapers to craft boldly experimental and dynamic compositions that crackle and pop with vibrant energy. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the world around her, she views her canvases as limitless landscapes, where colour and form are guiding forces.

Wise has been a docent of both the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum, and she has participated in art auctions for the Canadian Opera Company, National Ballet, Royal Ontario Museum and Baycrest Hospital. Her work has been acquired by private and corporate collectors in Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Miami, and Tel Aviv. Wise’s art is a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and the shared human experience, with vibrant hues and geometric forms that embody life’s joy and interconnectedness.
