The second annual Tree of Caring event was held on December 3rd and was a great success. Thank you to all our guests who joined us to support Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Langdon Hall’s Tree of Caring
Every December the Langdon Hall staff work together to generously raise funds to help light the Langdon Hall Tree of Caring that shines all month outside in our courtyard.
Staff participate in weekly activities and raffle prizes to help raise the needed funds. At the end of the campaign, Langdon Hall matches the staff donations dollar-for-dollar to continue the spirit of giving.
Since 2017 staff have come together to help raise over $6,000 for the hospital.
Annual Tree Lighting Event
In addition to the staff campaign, we kick-off the holiday season by inviting our local guests and community members to join us for an evening of hot apple cider and a glass of wine as we proudly light our Tree of Caring. Guests enjoy live carolers, warm fires, and the company of each other as we gather as a community to remember that the holiday season is also a time of giving.
“We’re honoured that Langdon Hall’s Tree of Caring event has become an annual tradition, and we hope to inspire other local companies in our community to do the same,” says Mark Steenge, General Manager.
All proceeds raised during the event go directly to the Hospital’s Trees of Caring campaign and help raise funds for the urgent needs like new equipment.
