A Quick Note From the Spa

We recommend reserving your spa visit well in advance of your arrival. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow sufficient time to complete the client history form. The Spa welcomes guests of 14 years of age or older for esthetic treatments and 16 years or older for massage treatments.

At Langdon Hall Spa we try our best to accommodate as many guests as possible; therefore, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place and a nominal fee of $50 per service will be charged. Childcare for overnight visitors can be arranged with reservations.

The Spa has unisex amenities so please bring a bathing suit. Tax (HST) and gratuities are extra. Prices are subject to change. In consideration of other guests, the Spa is a cell phone free area.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all the massage therapists registered?

Yes, all of them are registered. Please request your RMT insurance receipt at check out.

Where is the pool?

Langdon Hall has an outdoor heated pool that is available for overnight hotel guests only.

How do you choose the type of facial / body wrap?

If you are unsure of the type of service you want, you do not have to choose until you have the consultation with your therapist.

What do I have to bring to the Spa?

Robes and slippers are provided for you, please bring your bathing suit if you would like to enjoy the amenities.

How far ahead should I book?

4-6 weeks in advance is recommended.

Do I need a lunch reservation?

Whether you choose to dine in the Main Dining Room, Wilks Bar or the Spa, reservations are strongly recommended.

Do you apply/ remove shellac?

No, we do not.

How early should I arrive for my appointment?

Arriving 20 minutes before your first appointment is recommended so that you can ease into your appointments.

What treatments are safe for pregnancy?

Please let us know when you are booking that you are pregnant and how far along you are so that we can set the tables up properly. 55 minute massage, pedicures and manicures are all safe treatments to book. 55 minute facials are also recommended as long as you are comfortable lying on your back throughout the whole treatment.

How can I treat someone to a Spa day?

Gift cards or E gift cards that can be purchased online and sent directly to the recipient, if that does not work we can obtain a Credit Card Authorization form for you to put the charges through on the day of.

What treatments are done together?

Manicures and pedicures are all booked in the same room, as well as couples massage. All other treatments will be performed in private treatment rooms.
