FAQs

What can I expect on my wedding day?

Wake up in the morning, rested and ready for your dream day to start. Have your hair stylists and makeup artists come right to your suite. Interested in having a first look? We have plenty of picturesque locations all around the property for wedding photography. Once ready, your Wedding Coordinator will escort you to your wedding ceremony location, only steps away. Enjoy an exquisite three course meal, and continue the celebration by dancing the night away with your loved ones.

Is photography available on property?

Wedding photography is available on property exclusively for couples who have reserved their wedding event with us. We have a variety of picturesque outdoor and indoor settings to offer with beautifully landscaped gardens in a historic setting. Please view our Wedding Gallery for inspiration.

What can Langdon Hall offer me in addition to a wedding venue?

Look no further as we have everything you need right here at Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa! Picture this: You arrive to the hotel and our door porters will take your luggage and park your car. While the porters bring your luggage to your room (which features a luxurious feather bed and wood burning fireplace), head to our state of the art spa and pamper yourself before your big day! Reserve a private dining room for a rehearsal dinner, or have a relaxing night in and order dinner right to your room.

 

A farewell breakfast in our five diamond Main Dining Room can be enjoyed by overnight guests – the perfect way to start the rest of your lives together!

Who will be my main contact from Langdon Hall?

We want your special day to be stress free! A Langdon Hall Wedding Coordinator will reach out approximately 6 months prior to your wedding date. Your Wedding Coordinator will be your direct contact during the planning process and will be here on the day of your wedding. Our team will ensure all the pieces for your big day fall into place smoothly.

What can you tell me about your menu?

Our menus feature French-style cuisine combined with local and on-site ingredients. Langdon Hall proudly supports local farmers, foragers and artisans. As a Feast On certified and Ocean Wise partner, we are committed to ensuring our menu items are sustainably and responsibly sourced. In addition, we also have the luxury to forage wild produce growing on the property and harvesting from our kitchen gardens. This allows your menus to be created to showcase a unique ‘sense of place’ experience.

Can we choose our menu right away?

As we focus on sourcing local ingredients, our wedding menu changes seasonally for the spring/summer and fall/winter months. If your wedding is next season or next year, menus will not yet be available and will be shared closer to the event date. Your Wedding Coordinator will work closely with you to select the perfect menu and any other food and beverage requirements. Please note that pre-selected choices must be provided in advance of your event – please ask your guests for their selections when sending out your RSVPs.

Is a menu tasting included?

When reserving our wedding package, the wedding couple will be invited to enjoy a complimentary wedding menu tasting, joined by your Wedding Coordinator. You are also welcome to spend the night at a preferred rate created only for the wedding couples of Langdon Hall. We look forward to welcoming you for a fun and interactive menu tasting experience when selecting your wedding menu!

Do we have flexibility to change our guest count after signing the contract?

Yes, final menu selections and guest count will be submitted to your Wedding Coordinator approximately 3 weeks prior to your wedding. This allows our Kitchen Team to accommodate any known dietary restrictions. Should you have minor changes closer to your wedding date (for example, a guest can no longer attend), your final guest attendance must be provided to your Coordinator 3 business days prior to your wedding day.

Can our pet be part of our special day?

Absolutely! We have pet friendly guestrooms in the Cloister Building that allow you to stay overnight with them. We can even arrange for a dog sitter to make sure your best friend is well taken care of. Just make sure you read our Pet Rules before you bring your beloved pet to Langdon Hall.
