Our Journey to Reopening

Our protocols and policies will continuously evolve based on guidance from public health and government authorities.

Although it is impossible to know what tomorrow holds, we want to assure you that we are looking ahead to ensure that you, our valued guests and staff, will always be looked after with the highest degree of care and comfort.

To ensure our team follows all the protocols laid out by the government and public health authorities, we ask for your cooperation and understanding when joining us.

Enhanced staff training and a new Pandemic Task Force will ensure continued compliance and improvements as we create a luxurious experience safely. Although things may look a little different once our doors reopen, we feel confident that we will be ready to welcome you back safely and comfortably.

General Property

Property Overview

  • The property has been deep cleaned and sanitized. We are maintaining a schedule of multiple sanitation cleanings daily to ensure safe and comfortable environments for our guests and team.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the property, and guests will receive a personal supply upon check-in to the hotel.
  • Physical distancing measures will be in place in all public areas for both staff and guests.
  • Masks will be provided to all guests upon arriving and worn by all staff.
  • The health of our team members is being carefully monitored. Any team member that has any reason to believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19, or are showing symptoms has access to a special paid time off program.
  • We ask all our guests to refrain from entering the property if they have any reason to believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19, or are showing symptoms.

Local & Public Areas

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available in key areas throughout the hotel.
  • Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection with special attention to high-touch points.
  • Seating will be rearranged to promote physical distancing.

Public Washrooms

  • Hand sanitizer stations will be located outside of washrooms if hand towels are not possible to use on doorknobs upon exiting.
  • High-touch surfaces will be disinfected every hour.
  • Occupancy levels will be put in place for two guests per washroom at one time.

Valet Services

  • Valet service will be temporarily unavailable.

Hotel Stay

Pre-Stay

  • Each guest will receive a confirmation email from the hotel prior to arrival providing additional information on the arrival process, contactless check-in, hotel services and amenities, fast check-out, and more.
  • Guests are encouraged to use pre-arrival communications to reduce contact upon arrival.

Arrival

  • Guest arrivals will be spaced out to allow for individualized guest check-in. Check-in will be expedited to accommodate minimal contact. Full check-in details will be provided to guests in their confirmation email prior to arrival.
  • Valet parking will be temporarily unavailable.
  • Guests will receive a Welcome Wellness Kit with personalized hand sanitizer, face mask and information booklet about cleaning procedures, amenities available upon request, and protocols in public spaces.

Housekeeping

We want to provide guests with the highest level of service and attention, but we understand if guests prefer to limit team members entering their guest room. To accommodate personal preferences, we are offering options for Housekeeping services:

  • Housekeeping Daily Service: This classic Langdon Hall standard, for those guests who prefer daily service.
  • Housekeeping Drop Service: We understand some guests may not want to share their space with others once they arrive, so we will stock the room appropriately for the entire stay. If additional items are required, we would be pleased to place them outside your room at your convenience.

Spa

  • The spa will be available to hotel guests by appointment only.
  • Hotel guests are asked to change into their robe in their guest room.

Guest Room

  • Certain items will be removed from each guest room such as minibar items, hotel collateral, and print magazines. Items will be available upon request and disinfected between each use, or new items will be provided.
  • All guests will have access to the PressReader app that provides over 7000 publications for your reading pleasure.
  • Guest requests will be carried out in a thoughtful manner with guests’ safety top of mind.

Dining

  • Guests can enjoy our many outdoor dining locations surrounded by the Carolinian Forest and our manicured lawns. In-room dining is also available.
  • To ensure a pleasant and safe dining experience, table spacing has been adjusted to allow for six feet between tables.
  • Guests will be asked to respect their reservation time and arrive on time to ensure physical distancing measures can be followed.
  • Menus will go through a "quarantined" phase of 36 hours between each use.
  • Tables and chairs will be fully sanitized between each guest.

In-Room Dining

  • Contactless drop-off and pick-up of in-room dining is available.
  • Trays will be disinfected between each use.
  • Delivered by a staff member wearing a mask.

Outdoor Pool

  • Our outdoor heated pool will be open to hotel guests to enjoy.
  • An occupancy limit will be in place and physical distancing will be enforced.

Check-Out

  • Contactless check-out via email or phone.
  • Keys may be left in the room.
  • Invoices will be emailed directly to guests.

Outdoor Dining

General

  • We are accepting dining reservations of a maximum of six guests to a table. We ask that you respect the provincial guidelines of remaining within your “social circle” – but we certainly look forward to celebrating many missed moments with you and your loved ones.
  • Afternoon Tea is currently unavailable. We hope to resume tea when our indoor restaurant reopens.

Outdoor Dining

  • With multiple outdoor dining locations, guests can enjoy all meals surrounded by the Carolinian Forest and our manicured lawns. 
  • Outdoor dining will also be available during inclement weather.

Table Service

  • Guests will be asked to respect their reservation time and arrive on time to ensure physical distancing measures can be followed. Late arrivals may be rescheduled.
  • To ensure a pleasant and safe dining experience, table spacing has been adjusted to allow for six feet between tables.
  • Our staff will wear masks at all times. 
  • Menus will go through a "quarantined" phase of 36 hours between each use.
  • Tables and chairs will be fully sanitized between each guest.
  • High-touch surfaces will be disinfected every hour.

The Spa

General

  • All staff and guests will be required to wear masks in the spa.
  • Guests are asked to arrive no earlier than one hour prior to their treatment time and leave no later than one hour after their treatment is complete.
  • All guests will be required to complete our standard health form, which will now include COVID-19 related questions.
  • The spa will be available to hotel guests by appointment only. Hotel guests are asked to change into their robe in their guest room.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the spa.
  • Physical distancing will be maintained through the placement of furniture, change room occupancy levels, and scheduling of reservations.
  • All staff will wear masks.
  • High-touch surfaces will be disinfected every hour.

Treatments

  • We are pleased to welcome back guests for manicures, pedicures, Swedish massage, Indie Head, reflexology, reiki.
  • All guests will be provided with a mask and required to wear it throughout the entire treatment.

Amenities

  • To comply with the Ontario Government Phase 2 Re-opening guidelines the sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and gym will remain closed.
  • Food service will not be available but individually wrapped snacks will be offered along with beverage service.
  • Spa guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor spa terrace, 12km of walking trails, and beautifully manicured lawns and gardens.
