On-Site Adventures.
Langdon Hall offers many great adventures available on our own property. View more information below on how to make the most of your overnight get away. Overnight guests are welcomed to join:
- Our Gardeners for a tour of our expansive vegetable & flower gardens at 10:30 on Saturday morning. (Seasonal)
- Our Sommelier every Saturday Afternoon for a Wine Tasting at 4:00p.m. in the Main House or on the Terrace.
- One of our Chefs for a cooking demonstation at 10:30 on Sunday morning

Walking and Biking Trails:
Throughout the property there are 12 kilometers of woodland trails. For our guests to use, mountain bikes are available to discover the trails. Trail maps can be found in each of the guest rooms or at the reception desk.

Spa Services:
A visit to Langdon Hall is not complete without pampering yourself at our wonderful spa. Services include therapeutic and alternative massages therapies, body treatment wraps, facial treatments, hand & foot therapies, and beauty services including waxing along with tints and make-up application.

The Exercise Room:
Provides cardio-vascular workout as well as free weight equipment. A personal trainer can be arranged. As a relaxation exercise, a Yoga instructor can provide instruction.

Formal Wine Tasting:
Our Sommelier ,Kathleen Moore loves to chat about wines. An hour tasting and discussion can be arranged highlighting specific wine regions. This is an ideal activity to plan just before dinner instead of a cocktail reception. If you would like an evening activity, why not select an after dinner port tasting. A minimum of 8 participants is required. Additional Cost will apply.

Croquet Lawn:
A traditional game of croquet is a great way to spend an afternoon outside. Croquet mallets & Balls are available at the Front Desk. *Available May until Late September.

Kitchen Vegetable Garden:
Langdon Hall has the most impressive garden. Vegetables abound under the close eye of our Head Gardener. In season, we would be pleased to arrange a garden tour. You and your guests will have an informative and fun afternoon under the sun.

We are pleased to reccommend a selection of interesting diversions around our scenic neighbourhood to complement your stay at Langdon Hall.
*All Activities must be arranged prior to arrival.

Grand River Canoeing:
The historic Grand River, flowing southward near Langdon Hall, offers calm waters for recreational paddling. We will arrange 2-hour and 4-hour canoe trips for both beginners and enthusiasts. You can drive to the Freeport or Cambridge sites operated by our highly experienced partner, Canoeing on the Grand. Helpful staff will transport you upriver by shuttle bus and provide a canoe (including paddles and flotation devices) in which you can canoe back to your car. Along the river, enjoy a gourmet picnic from out kitchen. Additional costs will apply.

Cycling by the Grand:
Enjoy a leisurely bike ride to the nearby town of Paris following the Trans Canada Trail, which in our neighbourhood meanders alongside the picturesque Grand River. Langdon Hall will provide a knapsack with maps highlighting sights to see as you ride, as well as a snack and a delicious packed lunch. Bring your own bike or we can arrange rentals. Additional costs will apply.

Antiquing in Waterloo County:
There are wonderful places to shop for antiques and collectables among the peaceful farm towns of Waterloo County. Langdon Hall will arrange a self-guided tour of the area's best antiquing venues, as well as other interesting places you may wish to visit en route. We'll also provide a wicker picnic hamper filled with treats. Additional costs will apply.

Golfing:
Langdon Hall offers a variety of golf packages including Golfer's Dream Weekend, You Golf & I'll Spa, and a variety of play at your leisure options.
