Friday Night Dinner
Summer Barbeque Series
Meet the experts, learn from the experts
Each summer we pair our favourite chefs, culinary personalities and winemakers with the best ingredients of the season, and this year may just be the best yet. In keeping with the spirit of seasonality, featured ingredients and menus will be determined days before each event. Each dinner promises to be fun, relaxed and informative -- guests will get to know each guest host along with what they do, and how they do it.
We can’t think of a better way to start each weekend this summer.

Meet our Experts
Complimentary activities for our overnight guests to enjoy.

Wine Tasting
Saturdays at 4:00pm
Join our Sommeliers for an informal wine tasting. Topics are different weekly and three great wines are selected, whether it’s a Cabernet 101 or what’s happening in the Rhone.
There will always be a great wine discussion and tasting! A perfect opportunity to discuss with the sommelier what wine you should bring to your next event!

Garden Tours
Saturdays at 10:30am (Seasonal)

Saturday morning garden tours are an enjoyable 40 minutes touring our flower and vegetable gardens. Starting at the front of the house, the historical value of our original garden designed by the Olmstead Brothers are discussed, as well as what has been put in since the property became a hotel.

The guided tour moves through the property discussing the points of interest throughout, and ends in the vegetable garden where we talk about the produce that we grow for use in our seasonal menus.

Cooking Deonstrations
Sundays at 10:30a.m.

Led by one of our Chefs this interactive cooking demonstration changes weekly and is largely based on participant interaction in designing the dishes to be created. Our chef will provide three different types of protein along with a variety of seasonal produce. He will lead the group through his offerings and discuss what flavors compliment each other. This is a great opportunity to ask what the chef’s secrets are to preparing one of the menu items that you tried last night for dinner.
