Firshade Room & Hall:
The recently completed Firshade Hall and Room offers the perfect setting for meeting events requiring natural light, stunning views and accessible meeting amenities ( audio & visual requirements). There are two walls of windows within this meeting space which overlook the famed vegetable garden and croquet lawns, 14 foot ceilings, and a climate controlled atmosphere. There are three screens within the meeting space displaying the same presentation to three sides of the room from the ceiling mounted projection units.
We suggest the maximum capacity within this space be 75 participants for a full day session seating at ½ rounds, classroom, hollow- square up to 60, or u-shape for 45 participants.
Located across the courtyard from the main house, this meeting room of 1300 square feet offers a u-shape format which can comfortably seat 31 people or a hollow square format which seats 43 people. This room features floor to ceiling windows that overlook the apple orchard and grasslands. Through the glass window French doors guests can access the wrap around verandah that is ideal for breaks and meals. The room boasts a sound system with microphone, two built-in rear view projection units for computer or video presentations which are located on opposite walls, numerous built-in cork and white boards, multiple computer access points which are located throughout the room, wireless internet and beverage stations.
Located across the courtyard from the main house, this meeting room of 1020 square feet can offer a u-shape presentation format that will comfortably seat 23 people. This room features natural light with 4 sets of picture windows which overlook Langdon woodlands, a walkout onto a terrace area, two built in television/video and screen units, wireless internet, adjoining breakouts which can sit up to 10 people, and beverage station.
Colonel Langdon’s Room:
This function room in the main house was the original dining room for the house and features a fireplace and windows overlooking the grounds. The room features a large mahogany table that can comfortably seat up to 16 people for a meeting or up to 22 guests for a dinner party. Adjoining the main room is a private conservatory which can be used as a breakout or can be set for a working breakfast or lunch, and acts as a beverage station area throughout the meeting.
This function room in the main house was the original ladies parlour and offers an intimate meeting atmosphere featuring a mahogany table which can comfortable seat up to 8 people for a meeting or up to 14 people for a dinner party. This room has a wood-burning fireplace and provides natural light through windows that overlook the grounds. There is a private conservatory which adjoins to the main room which can be used as a breakout or can be set for a working breakfast or lunch, and acts as a beverage station area throughout the meeting.
This small meeting room located in the Stable wing behind the Main House offers an alternative to a formal meeting room. Decorated in the style of a gracious cottage, featuring rustic wood paneling, a wood burning fireplace and can comfortably seat up to 10 guests for a meeting. As a hospitality room this room offers an entertainment center that includes CD player, television and bar area.
Room 25 & Room 26:
Located between the Carolinian Room and Orchard Room, these meeting rooms of 288 square feet can offer boardroom or round table seating for 10 people. This room features natural lighting with two picture windows that overlook Langdon woodlands, built in cork and white boards, television with video player units, wireless internet and beverage station.
